1. The key reference source for Alzheimer's is the Alzheimer's Association web site. It provides a huge compendium of reference materials regarding the disease, warning signs, how to contact a local chapter, information and advice for caregivers, complete with a comprehensive listing of resources and services available. It is THE starting point! http://www.alz.org

2. Peter V. Rabins, MD, MPH and Constantine Lyketsos, MD, MHS are the two most prominent geriatric psychiatrists at Johns Hopkins. They are members of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Baltimore, MD. Dr. Lyketsos' address is John Hopkins Medical Institutions, Suite 308, 550 N. Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21207. Connecting with their office will allow you to inquire about pre-marketing studies (before FDA approval) and post-marketing studies (after-FDA approval) involving evaluation of and treatment for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
